Cinnamon Basil
This attractive basil has purple stems and deep flowers with purple bracts. Its unique cinnamon taste and aroma makes it wonderful for tea/vinegars.
Sweet Basil
Used for pesto, salads, and tomato dishes, it thrives in full sun, warm soil, and is easily grown in containers or gardens, reaching 1β2 feet in height. Regular trimming promotes bushy growth.
Red Rubin Basil
Reddish-purple leaves, and a stronger flavour than sweet basil, making it most appealing for salads and garnishes.
Lettuce Leaf Basil
Large, crinkled leaves, which grow on the short, wide plant, are sweet, but not as strong as other sweet basils.
Thai Basil
Thai Basil plants are cultivated Asian varieties of sweet basil known for their spicier flavor and ability to withstand high cooking temperatures. Thai basil has small, narrow leaves, purple stems, and pink-purple flowers.
