As part of our work this year, we put together our land acknowledgement. We are honoured to live and work on the traditional and unceded territory of the Stó:lō People. We are privileged and thankful to be neighbours with the Sq'éwlets and Leq’á:mel communities. Our team is committed to working in a way that implements the UN Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples – and we commit to business principles that respect the calls to action from the Truth & Reconciliation Commission – with a focus on call 92 on Business & Reconciliation. We recognize the National Truth and Reconciliation Day annually – and we are committed as a team to promoting awareness and education of the present day and history of Aboriginal peoples in Canada. As a team, we know we can all do more and learn about the rich history, art, language and culture of those around us.
We are thankful to be contractors, neighbours, co-workers, family members and friends to the Indigenous people where we live, work and raise our families.
