IT'S DECK SEASON

Check out this deck we completed a couple of weeks ago.

First we washed and brightened the old boards that were showing their age with green and grey weathering. Next we did a light sand to open the grain of the wood and keep things soft underfoot. Finally, we used Dulux Semi-transparent stain in the colour Dark Mahogany.

MEET THE TEAM! 👋

Hello everyone!

My name is Rachel and this marks my third summer working with Zach. In May of 2021, I began working with Zach and his team as a painter, working on both interior and exterior jobs! During my first summer, my crew partner and I transformed over 50 homes in the Don Mills area, winning the Top Quality award in all of Canada at Student Works Painting.

Last summer I had the opportunity to expand my role with Zach, moving from a painter to a Production Manager, focusing mainly on large exterior projects. I spent my days overseeing the production of 2 crews, ensuring that all of the work we produced was of the best quality!

This summer I will be managing the production of 3 crews, working mainly on exterior paint and stain projects. My dedicated crews are eager to tackle all of your exterior projects. From the 40ft peak of your house, to your backyard fence, we are excited to transform and beautify every part of your home!

WORN AND DATED ➡️ FRESH AND MODERN

Another stunning before and after from last season! We are still blown away with how a few simple changes completely transformed this home 🤩

What we did:
- solid stained the front porch, steps and railing to a modern dark grey
- painted the exterior shakes to a warm terracotta colour
- painted the windows, downspouts, shutters and eaves to black

Hi, I'm Emilie

I have been working with Zac since his first year of operation in 2021. I managed our 2 crews that summer, producing interior and exterior painting jobs in the Don Mills area. We were ranked in the top 5 Student Works Painting businesses across Canada, despite having one of the smallest teams! We are extremely efficient. I credit this to the intensive training and close management our painters receive.

As a production manager, I follow each job start to finish, ensuring work of the highest quality and focusing on customer satisfaction. We have won the Top Quality award back to back and plan on keeping that streak going. I now manage 3 crews that work across East York and Scarborough, but through word of mouth, our stretch has extended well beyond that!

This summer we aspire to work with more clients than ever before, employ more students than ever before and most importantly, transform more spaces than ever before. There is nothing quite like seeing a house that needs some love and attention then beautifying and restoring it to its full potential.
