It’s time people!! Clean your dryer vent lint buildup!
⠀
1. Disconnect your dryer from the vent
2. Vacuum or brush out the vent⠀
3. Reconnect the dryer⠀
4. If it was crammed full, go outside and clean that part of the vent as well.

If you are froze up leave a tap open so you don’t burst! if you are not froze up leave a tap open a tad bit so you have water flow and don’t freeze up! If you know the location you are froze at use a blow dryer to thaw it they get hotter than most electric heaters! Only a couple more days of this cold snap keep pushin through people!

It’s been a busy week thawing mobiles. Here are some tips for preventing a freeze up!

Make sure there are no holes in the skirting.
Check the outlet make sure it’s working.
Make sure the heat tape is plugged in.
Leave a tap open a bit.
Do a load of laundry or start the dish washer before heading to bed to keep water going through the pipes and drainage at night.
If your septic won’t drain boil hot water down the drains with some salt.
If under your sink cabinets get cold leave them open.
If your hot water tank is in a cold closet leave the door open.
Always unhook your garden hoes in the winter.
