Is your glass top stove
Messy?
☆☆Today's Appliance Tip ☆☆

We all make a mess when we cook ..
But its a little different with a glass top stove.
You can't really just wipe up the mess right away like you can with a coil top.
So you have to let the top cool a bit.. while its cooling it dries a little making cleaning up a challenge.
The manufacturers know this and some have made stove top ceran top cleaners available in most hardware and department stores....
But what about those who forget and now the spill is hard as rock?
Well .. get a scraper .. the kind that holds a razor.. or if your brave and extremely careful!. A razor blade . Carefully put several layers of tape over one side to help prevent you from getting cut. But as I said BE CAREFUL!
Hold the blade to the surface for the ceran (glasstop) at about a 35° or so.. angle and carefully work the blade back and forth in a small rocking motion.. of coarse applying a small amount of pressure as well . And it will get under the dried or burnt on gunk and it will come off.. I have been doing this for years on a lot of ceran tops and it has never failed me yet.. nor has it ever scratched the glass!.
That is the key ! Hold the blade at a deep angle
