Today's Soul Gold

With the gardening season over, I turn to painting and creating Ikebana arrangements to fill my soul. The act of creating is a deeply spiritual exercise for me; one that puts you in touch with the Great Creator, however you chose to define this.

This arrangement is created using dogwood branches and pine boughs cut from the forest and the ditch. The dogwood branches are very pliable and can be bent to achieve these beautiful curves (with some practice).
