It’s been a hot minute since I’ve made a loaf of bread - so fired up the starter and made one of my multigrain gluten free vegan sourdough loaves… looking forward to cutting into this one later! We are also well stocked on eggs and will be setting up a pickup stop for anyone wishing to try some Tall Pines Eggs! 🥚

June was one for the books at Tall Pines Acres. 🌾We planted our garden with hopes as big as the sunflowers, and started a wildflower patch that’s already buzzing with life. The heat wave rolled in just as we put up our new pool — perfect timing for us and the chickens, who happily munched on frozen fruit to keep cool. Meanwhile, the bees were hard at work, gathering pollen and fanning their hive to beat the heat. Evenings wrapped up with some of the most epic sunsets we’ve ever seen.Can’t wait to see what July brings! What was your favourite part of June? Drop it in the comments! 💛
