Feeling very behind schedule after this heat wave and having the flu, but reminding myself that I have still gotten a lot done. The paths are mulched, irrigation is running, beds prepped, and 80% of the field is planted. Time to buckle down and get the rest of the plants in so I can get to w**ding!

Today the delphiniums got planted out and this year I've spaced them closer together to try and get smaller blooms. Last year most of them were too big for bouquets even on first year plants! Here is one of the biggest ones I got with my head for reference 😁

Finally got a big load of wood chips out to our property thanks to Leaf It To Us Tree Care and I am giddy with excitement 😄

We didn’t get around to mulching last season and needless to say the w**ds were out of control. I’ll be layering these wood chips on top of leaves I collected from last year for some natural w**d suppressant that will break down and build healthy soil over time!
