Squeezed every last ounce out of summer!

And now, September, a reset, my new year.

July, you were fast and furious!

LOTS of site visits, sourcing, & design meetings to fine tune every single detail that we lose sleep over every darn night! All to create amazing homes for wonderful clients that trust in both our process and expertise. Can’t wait to see all these beauties finish up over the next year!

The Cotswolds were a bucket list place. I expected charm, but it was more like stepping inside a magical fairytale! It absolutely took my breath away (and the single track roads certainly took Darcy Ennis breath at times!)

Around every corner was another town filled with centuries old homes lovingly restored. Original materials were salvaged, antiques were at the forefront, and anything new was made to look like it belonged in the past.

Stables converted into cafes, manor homes gifted to the National Trust for preservation, and gardens upon gardens teeming with roses, lavender and ornate wrought iron.

So yes, we will continue to focus on natural materials like real wood and real stone (no plastic to be found in these beautiful old cottages) and the longevity of the new builds and renovations we take on.

Because history matters, trends are just glimpses of the past, and what we pass on to future generations should show a loving home full of imperfect perfections and patina.

P.S. - who wants to do an English country inspired renovation or new build?!

Wi******er, New Forest, Jurassic Coast, Portsmouth, & Bath

Time with friends, beaches, country homes, and beautiful architecture!

This is when we accidentally stumbled upon our first National Trust estate, and from there I was obsessed with finding the next one. I house treasure hunt if you will.

Already planning our next trip, sans kids, to discover more manors, estates, and palaces…

London…so much design inspo around every corner.

I’ve definitely tucked so many ideas into folders and am looking forward to infusing everything into our upcoming projects!

April May was one month right?

Going at super speed the next two weeks and then we’re off to England for a much needed creative break!

Had the honour of being included in new showroom! The task? Create a Mid-Century Vignette. The response: warmth, texture, angles, conversation pits, breeze blocks, sculptural lighting, custom furniture, vintage accessories!

Sometimes it looks like the design comes together easily, but in truth it’s months and months of behind the scenes conceptual renders, material sourcing, drawing sets, vendor correspondence, on-site meetings/problem solving, and procurement/installation to get it to that final “tada” photo.

Full Service Design is a start to finish process, and I think even this one small vignette shows the time and care we put into getting every detail just right! (We even planned the location to achieve the open breeze block wall).

Special thanks to for making the walnut shelving and custom Sputnik sconce of my dreams (literally from a 3am dream) come to life!

Also, how good is that on the bar & banquette?!
