As we approach Spring and warmer temperatures, snow melt and spring rains are inevitable.
Be proactive and have one of our foundation specialist ensure your basement has no issues such as water intrusion, cracks, porous areas and other breaches that can potentially allow moisture into your home.

We typically inject a flexible resin into foundation cracks which expands and fills the void from interior to exterior and our work is backed by warranty.

We also offer excavation and elastomeric membrane from the exterior also backed by warranty.

For potential structural problems we work with a PEng structural engineer who can come out to evaluate, provide drawings and provide best method of repair.

FAQ
Q: Why not epoxy?
A: Epoxies are rigid and tend to share off as they provide no flexibility from expansion to contraction in our environment where we experience 60 degree temperature swings from -30 to +30
Epoxies do not expand as well so there is a potential the entire void may not be completely filled.

Q: Why not polyurethane?
A: Polyurethanes are fantastic in the fact that they expand and stay flexible, however they have a tendency to crystallize and breakdown over time therefore creating potential voids

Q: What does 5D use?
A: 5D uses a Urethane highbrid that is a rubberized membrane meaning the membrane stays flexible, expands to fill the entire void and does not crystallize therefore providing the best injection repair. Our highbrid membrane literally cures into a rubber like state.
