A small DIY fix can turn into a bigger job faster than most people expect. A tightened fitting that wasn't actually the problem, a patch job on a wall that's hiding a bigger issue behind it, a wire capped off instead of properly terminated, all of these feel like they solve the problem in the moment.

That is a wrap on our Spring Home Audit series.

Over the last few weeks, we walked through the four systems that quietly keep an Edmonton home running. Electrical, HVAC, handyman, and plumbing. Thanks to everyone who followed along, sent in questions, and booked a service off the back of it. Those messages mean a lot to a family-run shop.

Since the series wrapped, our crews have been busy closing out the projects that came from it. Panel upgrades ahead of summer usage climbing. Spring AC startups. Sump pump checks that turned out to be very well timed, given how much rain we have had. Handyman lists knocked down before the yards got busy. This is the work that keeps homes running smoothly through the season, and we are grateful to every homeowner who let us into their space to do it.

Now we are into the busiest stretch of the year. AC installs, deck and patio repairs, water heater swaps, electrical upgrades for outdoor projects. If summer has already put something on your list, this is a good time to get it on the calendar before things get tight.

Staying comfortable through an Edmonton summer usually takes more than one fix, and that's where having one company for all of it actually helps.

Happy Canada Day from our crew to yours.

We are a family-owned, Edmonton-based business that works in homes across this city and the surrounding communities every day. That is not something we take for granted. It is a line you hear from a lot of trade companies. We treat your home like it is our own. After a while, it can start to sound like a slogan.

Here is what it actually looks like for us.

Boots come off, or shoe covers go on at the door. Drop cloths come out for anything that could leave a mark. The work area gets cleaned up before we leave, including the small stuff like vacuuming up drywall dust or wiping down a counter where a tool sat. If furniture gets moved to get to something, it goes back where it was, not roughly where it was.

When something gets damaged during a job, even something small, we tell you. We do not hope you do not notice. We figure out how to make it right, and then we do.

We also do not leave the house with the system half explained. If we replaced something or changed how something works, you should know what was done and how to use it.

That is what the phrase means around here. If that is the kind of crew you want in your home, we are around.
