Find is a social enterprise of Homeward Trust that operates a housing support Furniture Bank, along with a retail thrift store and online shop.

Every donation and purchase helps furnish homes for people moving out of homelessness. More than a thrift store. Find is a nonprofit social enterprise that works with community agencies to provide furniture to people transitioning out of homelessness through housing supports in Edmonton. Low-cost, high-quality previously owned furniture and household items are also for sale to the public.

What makes a house feel like HOME?

Is it the couch you curl up on after a long day? The kitchen table where you share a meal? Or simply having a place where you can close the door and know you're home?

For people moving out of homelessness, these everyday moments can mean so much.

November is Housing Month, a time to talk about homelessness, the importance of safe, stable housing and the incredible work happening across Edmonton to make it possible.

We're proud to be part of that work!

As a social enterprise of Homeward Trust Edmonton, we help furnish homes for people moving out of homelessness, providing the furniture and household essentials that help turn an empty space into a place of their own.

Because getting the keys is a huge milestone. Making it HOME matters too.

This Housing Month, we're celebrating the people, partnerships and community that make it all possible.

Furniture is dignity. A home is hope.

Together, we can end homelessness.

Another month, more keys, more couches and more places to call HOME!

October was another busy month at FIND, and we've got some numbers to share!

129 homes furnished. 173 people supported. 37 children with a home to trick or treat from.

That's more kitchen tables for family dinners, couches for movie nights and dressers to finally unpack into.

And as we head into November, we're celebrating Housing Month!

Housing Month is a reminder that having a safe, stable place to live matters, and so does having the furniture and everyday essentials that make it feel like HOME.

Every donation, every purchase and every furniture delivery helps make that possible.

Thanks, Edmonton, for another month of making HOME happen!

Every donation makes it HOME.

A little behind-the-scenes steam.

Before a donated couch becomes someone’s favourite place to sit, our team gets to work. We inspect donations and professionally steam-clean soft furniture onsite, helping prepare each piece for its next home.

It’s care that matters. Because everyone deserves furniture they can feel comfortable settling into.

To everyone who donates, and the team who gets it ready for what comes next: THANK YOU!

Every donation makes it HOME!

We love giving things a second life. And that includes the stuff that can't make it onto our shelves!

Not everything donated to FIND can be reused, but that doesn't mean it's the end of the road.

Thanks to our friends at Quantum Lifecycle Partners, we're finding ways to keep more materials out of the landfill and give valuable resources another chance.

And the numbers are pretty impressive!

From July to September 2026:

28,395 lbs of materials recovered through recycling

14.3 tonnes of CO₂e emissions avoided

That's the equivalent of taking 44 cars off the road for a day!

From furnishing homes to finding new uses for old materials, we're all about making the most of what our community gives us.

Because doing good doesn't stop at the donation door.

Some offices have downtown skyline views.

Ours? A furniture skyline!

Couches, chairs and a whole lot of furniture Tetris.

It might not be the prettiest view in the city, but to us, it's a pretty great one.

Every piece of furniture you see has the potential to help turn an empty space into a home for someone moving out of homelessness.

What looks like a pile of furniture today could be someone's cozy living room tomorrow.

And that's a view we'll never get tired of!
