First days on site in upper Windermere and we are loving this one. The team is locked and loaded — Ehab getting the whole space prepped, windows papered, floors and surfaces protected while Julio gets busy spraying the ceiling. The rest of the crew working through wall repairs while Sam handles the details on some custom work for the client — drywalling the alcove above the fireplace so it’s ready for tile, and the master bedroom closet demolished and prepped for a brand new install. This is the part nobody sees, but it’s everything. More to come.

This is what it takes to spray a ceiling properly in a lived-in home.

When we spray ceilings during a repaint, every surface has to be protected — furniture, walls, floors, cabinetry, artwork, lighting, and windows.

That means carefully masking and covering the entire space before a single drop of paint is sprayed.

Why go through all this work?

Because spraying gives a smoother, more uniform finish than rolling, especially on larger ceilings. But it only works if the preparation is done right.

Most people only see the finished ceiling.
This is the part they rarely see.

Proper prep takes time, but it’s what allows us to achieve that smooth, uniform finish that simply can’t be replicated with a roller.

16 years ago we decided to start a small painting company.

I certainly didn’t see this in my plan, but as the daughter of entrepreneurs in the transportation business, independence was something I was raised with. In many ways, this industry feels like home.

I get to work with a great team, and we get to do good work for great clients.

There’s room for all of us.
