This kitchen used to feel tight and a little dated. Now it’s brighter, cleaner, and set up to actually work for day-to-day life, with more usable counter space, better flow, and storage that keeps the clutter off the surfaces.

What we tackled here:

Before and after, and a complete reset.

When the client came to us, they wanted to remove two walls to gain space. After inspection, we discovered one wall was load-bearing, and there was a heat run in the kitchen that made the layout especially tricky. In a townhouse renovation like this, you do not get a lot of room for error, so we had to get creative to achieve the open feel they wanted while keeping everything safe and functional.

The original kitchen felt closed in, short on usable workspace, and stretched by limited storage. The new design opens things up visually and practically with a better layout, brighter finishes, and cabinetry that gives everything a proper home.

Services included: floor repairs, ceilings scraped and painted, wall removal, new cabinetry, countertops, tile backsplash, undercounter lighting, LED wafer lights, floating shelf lighting, plumbing, and electrical.

This renovation was all about making the space work harder and feel brighter.

We opened up the layout by removing a wall, then rebuilt the kitchen around a large island that adds prep space, seating, and a natural place to gather.
