This morning the Waskada and Deloraine Fire Departments were called to Jordan and Victoria Morningstar’s for a structure fire. When we arrived their home was totally engulfed in flames and despite our efforts, they ended up losing everything.

Deloraine Fire Department has set up a benefit steak supper at the Legion on Saturday night May 24 starting at 5:30 to help them.
Cash donations can be made at the Sunrise Credit Union starting tomorrow to the Deloraine Fireman’s Club Benefit Account for the Morningstars.
In the meantime the family is in need of clothing and other necessities.
Clothing:
Jordan - size X-L shirts, 38/34 pants
Victoria- size 14, XL
Derek - size men’s medium T-shirt & sweatpants
Malcolm - size XL shirt, 38/32 pants
Tomorrow clothing can be dropped off at D&M Motors Deloraine or contact Jordan Morningstar at 204-747-4613.

R.I.P. Canada !!! You went soft on discipline. You raised the cost of living so high that both parents are always at work, rather than spending time with their children. You took God out of schools. Parents were told 'No you can't discipline your kids'. Well done Canada!! You shall reap what you sew, and we have lost a whole generation and turned them into selfish, disrespectful brats who have no respect for people, property or authority! Things need to change! Life is too short 😢 Years ago we were all like family. Everyone looked out for each other. We ate together and drank together and were worried about each other. We need to get back to this. We need to take care of each other instead of breaking each other down. I'm going to make a bet, that out of my "family" and "friends" less than 6 will take the time to copy and post this.. So apparently people are getting CLONED NOT HACKED on Fb. Changing your password does NOTHING. Heads Up. Almost every account is being cloned. One of your pictures and your name are used to create a "new" Facebook Account. (They don't need your password in order to do this). They want your friends to add them to their accounts. Your friends may think that it's you and accept your request. From that point on they can write what they want under your name.
I have NO plans to open a new account!
PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT A NEW ‘FRIEND REQUEST’ FROM ME.
If you are seeing this, we are already friends.

THIS IS SO FU***NG TRUE, PEOPLE NEED TO SLAM THIS IN THEIR HEAD FOR WHEN THEY GET A DECENT PRICE ON A JOB THEY ARE ASKING TO HAVE DONE

A customer asked me how much it cost to do this job....
I answered him: $ 1500
He said: So expensive for this job?
I asked: How much do you think it would cost you?
He answers me: $ 800 maximum... That's a pretty simple job right? !"
- For $ 800 I invite you to do it yourself.
- But.... I don't know how to.
- For $800 I'll teach you how to. So besides saving you $700, you'll get the knowledge for the next time you want
- It seemed right to him and he agreed.
- But to get started: you need tools: A welder, grinder, chop saw, drill press, welding hood, gloves etc...
- But I don't have all these equipment and I can't buy all of these for one job.
- Well then for another $300 more I'll rent my stuff to you so you can do it.
- Okay, he says.
- Okay! Tuesday I'm waiting for you to start doing this work
- But I can't on Tuesday I only have time today.
- I'm sorry, but I'm only available Tuesday to teach you and lend you my stuff. Other days are busy with other customers.
- Okay! That means I'm going to have to sacrifice my Tuesday, give up my tasks.
- I forgot. To do your job yourself, you also have to pay for the nonproductive factors.
- That is? What is this?"
- Bureaucratic, tax, vat, security, insurance, fuel etc.
- Oh no!... But to accomplish these tasks, I'm going to spend more money and waste a lot of time!
- Do you have them? You can do it to me before?"
- Okay!
- I'll make you all the material you need. Truck loading is done Monday evening or Tuesday morning you'll have to come by 6 loading the truck. Don't forget to be on time to avoid traffic jams and be on time
- At 6??? Nope! Too early for me! I used to getting up later...
- You know, I've been thinking. Y ' all better get the job done. I'd rather pay you the $1500. If I had to, it wouldn't be perfect and it would cost me a lot more.

When you pay for a job, especially handcrafted, you pay not only for the material used, but also:

- Patents
- Sacrifices
- Safety and security
- Payment of tax obligations
Critiquing the work of others based on pricing is not fair. The fees I would charge for a similar task are considerably higher than what is indicated here, but the emphasis lies in the principle rather than the specific amount.
Only by knowing all the elements necessary for the production of a certain work can you estimate the actual cost.

listen to everyone in this country and what the goverment is trying to do to everyone, no wonder this s**t like having computer chips inserted inside our bodies to control us all would even happen to us without question... this is our country and our money they are using against us, maybe we need to start telling them what to do instead of being scared and listening to the people we are paying to f**k us in every way they see fit... would you hire some random person for your company and let them control your finances and tell you where your hard earned money goes, give your guy's head a shake and wake up to what is actually happening in this country. We out number our government population by 1 million to 1, ask yourself; what the f**k are we doing

Loving a drug addict or an active alcoholic is the hardest thing you will ever do. Watching someone you love, that has fought so hard to beat addiction, throw everything away and sink back into a life that will most likely lead to jail or death, is one of the hardest things you will ever do. All you wanted was to help them back to a clean and sober life but you realize by doing this, as you have so many times before, will now just be enabling them because it will show them that you will always be there to bail them out. You want to grab and shake them and say "What are you doing?!?!" But, at some point you realize that it wouldn't make a difference. So you sit back and watch the tragedy unfold, as if you are watching a movie. Feeling helpless to stop it, feeling like you haven't done enough to help, even though you know only the addict can help themselves.Battling a drug and/or an alcohol addiction is a beast for the person addicted and the ones who love them. So l am asking you to stand with me in prayer for every family member and friend who has lost or is losing their battle with drugs and alcohol and those who continue to conquer it! Put this on your page for one hour if you know someone who has or had an addiction. Many will be hesitant to copy and paste this. Some of you won't paste this but I think I know the ones who will. ❤️

Every human being has addictive personalities, it's how are brains are programmed, whether you are addicted to drugs, alcohol, shopping,working,sex etc... I can go on forever. So stop pointing fingers at addicts because everyone is an addict for something... addicted to drugs or alcohol doesn't make nyoe less of a person than anyone else, give your guys head a shake and actually clue in to the chaos that is taking place in this world. It's right in front of your eyes and everyone is too blind to see it

One way one can really tell if people really actually give a f**k about someone's life, is their actions when people get put into the worst situation in one's life and all they do is read the message and turn a blind eye... all I can say is better hope I don't ever get back up cause if I do, so help me god; you'll know where I am headed first
