When I started Handyman in Heels, it wasn’t just because I wanted to fix things. I started it because I know what it’s like to be a woman who doesn’t always have someone to call. Sometimes you don’t just need someone to complete a job—you need someone you can trust, someone who will answer your questions without making you feel silly, and someone who’s willing to teach you along the way.
My goal has always been to create a space where women feel comfortable asking questions, learning new skills, and knowing they’re in good hands. If I leave your home with something fixed and you’ve learned something new, then I’ve done exactly what I set out to do.
Meeting women like Allie has been one of the greatest blessings this business has given me. What starts as helping someone around their home often turns into great conversations, lots of laughs, and genuine friendships. I never imagined that building this business would introduce me to so many incredible women, but it’s become one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
