A shower niche should never hold standing water. 🚿
When installed correctly, the niche needs the proper slope so water drains back into the shower instead of sitting on the shelf. Combined with proper waterproofing and attention to detail, this helps prevent moisture buildup, staining, and potential water damage over time.

Okay, after the last video… let’s get serious for a minute. 😂
We’ve been working with Tile and Source and have to give a little shoutout to Kolby. They have so many great tile options, and Kolby has been awesome to work with!

These are two of the tiles we’re loving right now, and I think they show really well how you can mix different tiles together and still have everything feel cohesive.

Perfect for a bathroom reno, shower, backsplash, or so many other projects.

It’s all about finding those pieces that work together. 🤍

and we couldn’t be happier with how it came together.

Quick tip: Use a screw to hold the wood in place while you secure the other end for a tight, flush finish. 👌🏼

This one is a personal favourite. ❤️

Bold. Geometric. Full of personality.
This bathroom brings together three completely different tile styles — and somehow, they just work. Clean marble slabs, a graphic floor tile, and a textured feature wall that demands attention.

It’s the perfect example of how you can mix patterns, textures, and materials while still creating a space that feels fresh, intentional, and beautifully balanced.
