If you love to bake, or you’ve opted for a built-in wall oven, the usual drawer under the range isn’t always an option for storing sheet pans and trays.

One of our go-to solutions is adding vertical tray dividers inside a cabinet. It keeps everything upright, easy to grab, and far more organized than stacking.

We often recommend incorporating this into the cabinet above the fridge. While it can be an awkward space for everyday items, it’s perfectly suited for sliding trays in and out. It's a great way to make the most of every inch, without compromising accessibility.

Since storage was optimized so well in this kitchen and pantry, we were able to leave one wall completely free of upper cabinetry to make room for this big beautiful window and all the natural light it brings in. That's the difference between thoughtful design, and just filling the space.

You might not notice it right away, but this island is working a little harder than it looks.

Cabinetry on the back side of the island adds extra storage without taking up any additional space. Its a great spot to store lesser used items, while still keeping them accessible in the kitchen.

This is one of those subtle design decisions that doesn't draw attention, but makes everyday life a little bit easier.
