Day 3 Mini Stress Audits: Living Room Edition ✨

Layered Lighting

Overhead lighting is one of the fastest ways to make a living room feel harsh.

Your nervous system tends to respond better to low, warm, layered light — the kind that makes a space feel calmer, softer, and more lived in.

My general rule:
• aim for at least 3 light sources
• use warm bulbs (around 2700K)
• mix in sconces, table lamps, and floor lamps for depth and softness

And if you do have overhead lighting, warmer bulbs make a huge difference.

Today’s edit is all about lighting that feels better, not just looks good.

Day 2 Mini Stress Audits: Living Room Edition ✨

Sofa Depths

If your sofa is too deep, your body subtly works harder to sit comfortably — and you don’t even realize it.

Quick rule: overall depth ≠ seat depth.
Most supportive sofas land around 20–24” seat depth:
• 20–22” = upright support (best for everyday living)
• 23–24” = lounge comfort without constant slouching
• Deeper than 24” can create “perch tension” unless you’re tall or add lumbar pillows

I saved my favourite earth-tone performance options in my Supportive Sofa Collection.

Day 1 Mini Stress Audits: Living Room Edition ✨

Coffee Tables

Sharp corners + harsh overhead lighting can create micro tension in a space — even when you can’t put your finger on why.

A simple swap that instantly softens the room: a rounded coffee table.

✔ smoother traffic flow
✔ fewer bumps/bruises (lol)
✔ your living room feels calmer + more “settled”

Today’s pick: The Simone coffee table on Wayfair Canada. 🇨🇦

Pro tip: use coasters + felt furniture feet under anything decorative to protect the finish long term.

✨ Happy Holidays from Kendra Noelle Design ✨

As the year winds down, I just want to say thank you.

To my clients, collaborators, builders, trades, and everyone who trusted me with their spaces this year—thank you for letting me be part of something so personal. Designing homes is never just about finishes or layouts; it’s about creating places that support real life, real routines, and real moments.

This season is a reminder to slow down, reset, and make space—for rest, for connection, and for what matters most.

Wishing you a warm, peaceful holiday season and a new year filled with clarity, comfort, and beautifully lived-in spaces.

🤍

From sketch to photorealistic render in minutes.
This is the part of my process I live for — taking your ideas, your scribbles, your “I don’t know how to explain it…” moments, and turning them into something you can actually see.

Because when design becomes visible, it becomes REAL.

With a background in construction, safety, and full-service interiors, I don’t just create pretty pictures — I tell you what’s structurally possible, safe, buildable, and worth your investment.
Speed means nothing without expertise.
And expertise means nothing without vision.

I stay obsessed with new tools and tech so you get both:
✨ faster results
✨ clearer decision-making
✨ and elevated, high-quality design — every. single. time.

If you want a designer who can turn your ideas into reality before you’ve even finished the sentence…
Hi, it’s me. 🤍

Taking bookings for 2026.

No but seriously… thank you to everyone who contributed to my business’s success this year.

I always knew it would take a few years to build traction — but once it hit, it HIT. And I couldn’t be more grateful.

To the builders, the clients, the show coordinators, the trades, the sales teams, and every moving piece in between… THANK YOU.

You’re the people who keep a one-woman business running and give me a real fighting chance. I appreciate you more than you know.

Making sure my son never grows up with a struggle, so then I can win against him in a rap battle 😂

Every project starts with a digital vision, but the moment it becomes real is when the materials meet each other in a flatlay.

A flatlay is more than a pretty photo — it’s a full design conversation between texture, colour, light, and mood.
It lets me see:
✨ how warm woods balance cool concrete
✨ how greens, neutrals, and accents play together
✨ how the space will feel, not just look

Once the digital concept is locked in, I source each physical material and build a real flatlay. This is where the design either confirms itself… or evolves into something even better.

Then I can check natural lighting, shadows, and how the in person colours play together - because we all know digital samples and real colour samples are never the same.

This is the part clients never see behind the scenes — but it’s one of the most important steps in creating a home that feels cohesive, intentional, and grounded.

And honestly? It might be my favourite part of the entire process. 🤍🌿

This flatlay brings together the key elements for a warm Scandinavian-inspired suite:
stone, oak, concrete, natural fibers, soft neutrals, and a deep forest green.
Grounded, calm, and beautifully tactile. ✨

DM me to book your consultation and get started on your next project - taking clients for 2026.

REBUILT isn’t just a workbook.
It’s the guide I needed years ago — the one I wished existed during the moments when life knocked me flat and I had no idea how to rise again.

Every chapter is built from lived experience, years of healing, and the unapologetic decision to rebuild my life from the inside out.

This project is for anyone who’s ever felt overwhelmed, stuck, lost, or unsure of where their next chapter begins.
Because sometimes you don’t need someone to “fix” you —
you just need someone to walk with you while you find your way back to yourself.

REBUILT launches 2026.
Thank you for already making this journey feel so supported. 💛
Pre-orders coming soon.

I may be lip syncing to 50 Cent, but choosing paint is serious business 😂

Natural light changes everything — undertones, temperature, how colors read at different times of day.

If you’re ever unsure:
✔ Look at swatches near windows
✔ Test them on multiple walls
✔ Check them morning → afternoon → evening
(Natural light will reveal undertones, warmth, coolness, shadows, and whether your perfect ‘greige’ turns purple by 2PM lol)

Lighting tells the truth.
The store’s fluorescent lights? Not so much.

Follow for more design tips and giggles. 💃🏽
