Tonight marks my final day as the Dealer of Canadian Tire Edson and I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

When I started in May of 2023, we definitely went through a lot as a community dealing with wildfires, multiple evacuations and flooding. Three and a half years later I am very proud of our accomplishments and I am also very proud of my team. Along the way, I met some really incredible people in our town.

Being part of this community and being able to give back has meant a lot to me. I am blown away by the amazing work that happens in Edson whether it’s the Food bank who are having their busiest year in their history, Edson Kinettes, reflections, Ears, moving Edson, Edson Chamber, Mayor golf tournaments, schools events and so, so many more.

To my team at Canadian Tire Edson, the entire Edson community, and those amazing individuals I met along the way that made me a better person, thank you for making these last three and a half years so memorable.

Wishing Carly and Joel all the best as they take over tomorrow.

Edson, you have been so good to me and I’m really going to miss this place. ❤️

Canadian Tire Edson will be closing early today, Wednesday, November 4th at 5:00PM as we prepare for a change in ownership.

We have a few things to take care of behind the scenes to make sure everything is ready for the new owners, Carly and Joel who officially take over tomorrow!

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

A big thank you to Logan, Jenna and the whole crew at McLeod River Brewing Company for hosting our Canadian Tire team last night!

We had a great turnout and it was nice to get everyone together to thank our staff for all their hard work and to welcome Carly and Joel who will be taking over the store on November 5th.

This was also our last staff dinner here in Edson for myself, Natacha, Tyler and Rob, who many of you have gotten to know over the last few years. It was great to have everyone together one last time and we’re really going to miss this crew. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished together.

We highly recommend McLeod River Brewing Company to anyone looking for a place to host a staff event. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening.

Congratulations on winning Edson’s New Business of the Year Award, so very well deserved!

What a huge turnout last night at the Edson Business Awards! I was so humbled to receive this recognition from the Edson and District Chamber of Commerce.

I must say, In my over 3 years in this town, I've met some amazing people, made some great friendships, and crossed paths with some really special people who have genuinely changed me for the better. You know who you are, and I'll always be grateful that our paths crossed.

To my wonderful team here at Canadian Tire Edson, you've been the biggest part of what we've accomplished, and none of it would have been possible without you. I'm very lucky to have such an amazing group of people who work hard every day and take so much pressure off my shoulders, all the credit goes to you, I appreciate you so much.

Thank you to the Edson and District Chamber of Commerce, Darlene, Kathy, and everyone working behind the scenes who will not get the recognition they deserve. So much goes into planning and executing a great event like this, well done!!

Congratulations to everyone who was nominated last night. You are the heartbeat of our awesome town!

To our Edson Community:

We apologize for the unexpected closure of our store earlier today. Unfortunately, we experienced a serious theft incident overnight that required a police investigation and some extensive cleanup before we could safely reopen.

We're happy to share that we are open again as of 2:00 PM today!

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding, and a special thank you to the RCMP for their assistance.

We look forward to seeing you back in the store!
