With only about 3 weeks left of summer, it's a good time to reflect on the past season.We've had the craziest year since we opened in terms of weather, as the constant rain has been almost impossible to deal with. It's delayed our mowing schedules and our landscaping projects, and left us struggling to keep our customers happy.

With that said, we've somehow managed to mostly stay on schedule for lawn mowing, and we've finally caught up on our landscaping work. Thank you so much to all of our amazing customers, who have been so patient with us throughout the spring and summer. And thank you to our awesome staff, who have been working crazy long hours in an effort to keep everyone happy.

We only have a couple more projects to wrap up before we move on to fall cleanups, and then preparing our equipment for snow removal.

We recently completed this backyard patio and raised planter bed project, which had to be built up on a retaining wall due to the slope of the property. Lots of math and long days in the heat, but we love what we do and it turned out great!

Built with Blu 60mm pavers, Mini-Creta wall, and Raffinato wall caps - all in their beautiful Caffe Crema colour. We threw in some Alliance Gator black polymeric sand for some contrast, and it really made the stone look amazing.

Next step is the front walkway, then front porch railings, and we will finish the project off by planting shrubs and flowers. Stay tuned for the final completion photos in the next week or so 👀

That's a wrap! We got final sign-off on our largest project to date in Kingston. The client is very happy, and we are over the moon.

There were lots of early mornings and late nights to get this done on schedule, and lots of working in the rain and snow as well. We all learned a lot, but our team and others worked hard to get everything just right.
For the whole project throughout the teardown, insulation, pouring, finishing, installing railings, re-building the outdoor bar/kitchen, and fixing up the interlock pathway, everyone worked together to make sure things were done as best as we could possibly do it.

Huge shoutout to SS Stamped Concrete, this wouldn't have been possible without your skilled crew and eye for detail when it came to getting stamps and colour just right.
I also want to thank Janet from Fields of Faith Ranch & Photography Studio for the awesome photos at a reasonable price.

Thank you to my awesome staff for putting up with bad weather, long days, and me being on my phone endlessly.
And thanks to our supporters for helping us get to this point. Who would have thought that in 3 short years we'd go from one guy installing patios with a beat up old truck, to building an outdoor wedding venue at Fort Henry.
