Unit 16-21 putting in work today on the maiden voyage of our fully refurbished triaxle float.

A big milestone for the fleet and a huge step forward for efficiency. Having the ability to move all our equipment in-house gives us more flexibility, better scheduling control, and faster response times for our clients.

Today’s garage excavation was the perfect first run. The 6-ton excavator made quick work of the dig, the skid steer kept material moving, and the triaxle handled the surplus soil without missing a beat.

Every piece of equipment on site had a job to do, and the crew made it look easy.

We’re always investing in better equipment and better systems so we can keep delivering the level of service our customers expect.

This gravel parking lot turned into a muddy mess over the winter as the frost came out of the ground. After discussing options with the customer, we explained that repairing it during thaw season would only lead to future problems. Adding stone without a solid dry base would have put the lot right back in the same condition.

The customer trusted the process and waited until spring so the job could be done properly. We hydro bucketed and removed the failed material, added new stone, and regraded the lot for proper positive drainage. Water is now directed away from the building and neighbouring properties toward the road drain.

A proper base and drainage plan make all the difference, and the finished result exceeded the customer’s expectations.

Gravel doesn’t fail maintenance gets skipped

We just wrapped up over 7 km of pathway restoration using our Harley Rake. No new material just bringing it back.

This wasn’t about rebuilding it was about
• Reworking the existing surface
• Smoothing out rough sections
• Blending material back evenly
• Cleaning it up so it runs right again

You don’t always need more gravel. A lot of the time you just need the right approach.

Finally able to share what we’ve been working on heading into the 2026 season.

We’ve launched Essex County Septic, a dedicated division of Jaws Group focused on septic systems. This has been in the works for a while now and builds on the septic installs and replacements we’ve already been doing over the years.

Same crew, same equipment, just a more focused approach for our customers.

Spent the week at CONEXPO 2026 checking out some serious iron and the latest in the industry. Always good to get inspired and not a bad place to do it.

Turning tired gravel driveways into fresh, clean surfaces. Our Harley rake chews through the compacted driveway, breaks up the old base, and brings the buried stone back to the top. It loosens the hard-packed gravel, reconditions the base, evens out ruts and potholes, and leaves a smooth finish that’s ready for compaction. A fast, clean way to restore your driveway without hauling in full loads of new material. If your driveway is rough, rutted, or uneven, we can bring it back to life.
