You can paint over anything…
…but it doesn’t mean it’ll stay 👀

This is latex paint over oil — no primer.
And yep… it peels right off like a sticker.

Why primer matters:
Primer isn’t just an “extra step.” It’s what helps your paint actually stick — especially when you’re going from oil ➝ latex. Using a conversion primer like our Fresh Start will ensure lasting results.

No primer = no bond
No bond = this 👆

Not sure what you’re painting over? Try this:
• Rub with a bit of acetone
→ Paint comes off? It’s latex
→ Nothing happens? Likely oil

When in doubt — prime it out 😉
