A gingerbread house that can be decorated in so many ways. I finally settled in just a little wreath for the front door.
And they don’t have to be Christmas themed. Maybe something for a music lover, or to commemorate a special time.

There is always room on the tree for one more ornament.

Join me at the The Vault Co-Work Building for a fun afternoon of crafting up some felt ornaments. We'll decorate with beads, or buttons, or embroidery or ribbon or whatever your crafty little heart desires. I'll have templates if drawing your own is not for you. I'll have glue guns at the ready if hand stitching isn't for you.
I promise you, everyone can create something really cute!

I craft for many reasons including for my mental health. Some people go for a run, I make earrings. Some people declutter, I get out the paints. Some people go to the gym, I go to the fabric store.

Addressing rising mental health rates will undoubtedly require a range of different tools, both pharmacological and non-pharmaceutical.

What a great afternoon! 8 fabulous crafters hung out with Phil and I. Coffee, pumpkin scones, music, conversation and laughter. A little paint and many, many, many pinecones!

Hey crafty friends! It's been a lovely and busy summer and as I ease into Fall it's time to get some workshops happening.
First up is this gorgeous wreath. The flowers are made from pinecones and painted in those stunning fall colours.
You will be surprised how easy it is.

Mother Nature is waking up and she's inspired our next project...branch weaving!
Turn an ordinary branch into a loom for tapestry weaving. Lee will guide you in the basic steps of setting your warp, getting started on the weaving, using different colours and how to finish your project.
*Enjoy a coffee or tea, have a good chat with your bestie, and spend a couple hours relaxing with this addictive craft.
*All supplies and refreshments included in your $20 fee. (buy 3 tickets get one free!)
*You are welcome to BYOB (bring your own branch) but Lee will also have many to choose from. Suitable branches will be solid, not too green or bendy, and not too dry or likely to snap.

A few hardy souls braved the hurricane yesterday and came out to crafty cafe. Phil was worried no one would show up!
