Huge job yesterday replacing an old Rheem hot water on demand unit with this brand new Vesta VRC 140 combination boiler.

The old unit was all stainless steel venting that was corroded and rotted out so first thing was replacing the venting with all brand new 636 piping.

The original hot water on demand was heating the infloor heat piping in the basement. Which wasn’t piped to code or correctly as it was just pulled off the header system and down into the floor.

After a long day everything was piped and running good !

Reminder to all home owners with Hot Water on Demand systems. They should be flushed/serviced annually and some even recommend more often because of how hard our water is in Fort McMurray!
