We’ve all been there: you have a half-gallon of "Perfect Grey" from the hallway and you’re eyeing that weathered flower box or the front door. Can you use interior paint outside? (Or vice versa?)

The short answer: Please don't! 🛑

Think of it like your wardrobe. You wouldn’t wear a tuxedo to go camping, and you wouldn't wear a heavy parka to sit on the couch. Here’s why they don’t mix:

🏠 Interior Paint is the "Scrubbable Shield"
It’s built to handle sticky fingerprints, scuffs, and indoor life. It’s "hard" paint that doesn't smell (low VOCs) so you can sleep in the room the same night. But put it outside? It’ll crack and peel the moment the sun hits it.

☀️ Exterior Paint is the "Weather Warrior"
