morning I had a touch of gout ugh but ouch 🪶🤔
that reminded me about the time I built my first walking stick. I Actually built walking sticks many years before Light Kn:fes. I needed one once in awhile.

So i thought I show you a clip walking stick that I created from a small tree that went thru a forest fire 🔥

Taking the tree home I started to sand and dream and .... so
a few carvings that an inlayed rise quartz crystal

I added a pool cue fitting which allows me to break apart the stick for my suitcase
Maybe one day I post photos where it been, okay I won't 😂

It's been a good companion

yes I'm still at the grind once in awhile, when I'm not working on the muse's greenhouse 😂 oh yes by the way it's planted, and in progress 🤔 lol the doors not done

Here's the Group Light Kn:ves photo of the Kechika River and the Albertan fillets all dressed up and they are ready to leave our home to a new home.

This kept me very busy for awhile this spring but it's time. I drop them off.

I spent the after honing the edges on the leather belt to polish up edges and if I was posting my arms lol they are ready to shave🤠

morning 😂 I have a photo of my cake
and if it wasn't for the strong wind blowing out the candles I would of run out of hot air haaa

This cake was really appreciated
it was a family creation ❤️
my Daughterin in-law Iced and decorated the cake
my Son and grandson built the 2x4 base drilled all the candle holes.

It looked so great I wanted to cut it.

The party was a surprise party and I was so surprised to see everyone Neil and Holly came from Bearlodge.

Neil help begin LightKn:ves with "hey you want to build a kn:fe and so I did."

I will be getting back into the grind soon I'm still working on the greenhouse 🪶

Edwina and are onto her second speaking engagement today at St. Paul's hospital in Vancouver today.

She is part of a panel and she is speaking, about a topic she's very familiar about.

Having lived with Cardio Myopathy which progressed to open heart surgery, many cardio inversions and finally her complicated heart transplant. She will tell the story of being a health user and accessing health services living in Northern BC.

I am certain Edwina's talk will help bring awareness to the challenges many rural residents face

I got a call the other day from a young friend, who wanted a gift to take over to Germany in July.

So I said come on over and let's see what I've got around. So we looked and....🐿️

Here is the Muskawa River with a tapered tang, and handled in stablized and dyed maple burl.
3/32" thick AEB-L hardened to 61 to 62 rockwell. 🤠

Definitely not a kn:fe 🤠, but it's fun the muse has been so patient with me. as I've been full out in the Light shop working on clients projects I haven't been able to spend much time with her.

So Saturday we we went out for breakfast and went to the dog show in Taylor. Edwina ran a dog team in her youth and she still loves to tell stories about those days.

I've posted a picture of Edwina and an exhibitor discussing a (rare only 800 in the world ) Otterhound. I liked the breed myself this breeder is from Calgary by the way.

So Sunday I've started the green house for Edwina and well is meant to be cute so if you're wondering this maker is kind of resting 😴 working on all those round two it jobs.
