A new garden made in April --> weeds in June --> cleaning it all out & getting the perennials in!
It was wild to see the amount of invasive growth that occured over the spring in the newly made beds. After taking all the weeds out, 2 thunderstorms, two trips to The Garden Network, filling it with triple mix & hard work, this clients garden will be stunning in the years to come- just like her homemade sourdough bread she makes 😉
I created a back drop of ornamental grasses & phlox to soften the look of the deck posts, black eyed Susan's, wizard of ahhs, clusters of baskets of gold & silver mounds and popped in some scarlet phlox for ground cover. All sun loving perennials that will fill in the space with colours of purple, white, silver & yellows 🌼
