News Update: Our Work is Moving Forward!
We are expanding our design services across North America! This means that we will be focusing on helping people everywhere with landscape plans and garden designs, and no longer doing physical landscape installations.

With lots on our plates, we're re-opening the Quinte Botanical Gardens in 2022 (see www.qbgardens.ca), plus introducing a new line of designer hanging baskets. It's so exciting and we wish everyone a fantastic year!

A Great Idea!

Variegated Plants:
Variegated shrubs and perennials are an excellent addition to gardens. Even when they're not in bloom they can brighten up a corner, or add interest to an all-green area in your garden. I love the variegated Weigela's, this one is My Monet. (Not our photo).

Good Advice for everyone in North America!

Watch Your Zone - Protect Your Investment:
When purchasing any type of plant (other then annuals) take a look at the tag and make sure it can grow in your zone. Remember always add a "one" to the zone for plants grown in the U.S. An example is a Flowering Dogwood tree. Also, Cedars grown in B.C., then brought to Ontario for sale. We are NOT the same zone.

Great Solution!

What To Do With A Large Slope:
This townhouse complex in Belleville had a long (and boring) area on one side of the property, and it was on a slope. So we designed a garden to break up the monotony and add much-needed colour. The low-lying Junipers in front, and Cedars at the back provided a year-round garden, and the infusion of bright annuals really made the area "pop," all held in place with armour stone. Happy gardening!
