Louis Riel Day is a Manitoba holiday to honour the man who founded the province, and was a politician and Métis leader who fought to defend Métis rights, identity, and culture in the face of Canadian expansion.

Rona Gimli will be closed on Monday February 16 in observance.

The sponsorship program is open to any RONA employee with children or grandchildren in a hockey program. RONA Gimli and RONA Teulon are PROUD parents of not just one, but TWO U11 Riverton Eagles!

The RONA North group is committed to support our staff, their kids, and all the young athletes working hard in our local arenas.

Go Eagles Go! 🏒🦅

Our 2025-26 U11 Riverton Eagles were selected for the , one of 150 hockey teams chosen across Canada and one of two Manitoba teams to receive this honour!

Our team won these great Riverton Eagles hoodies and toques along with custom pucks, a team flag, noise makers, towels, stickers, as well as financial sponsorship to help us attend an away tournament!

As we welcome 2026, our teams will be taking a short break to celebrate the new year with family and friends.🎉
