Falling certification. Why does it matter? 🌲

Tree falling is one of the highest-risk trades in British Columbia, and with good reason. Every tree is different. Every cut has consequences.

What many people don't realize is that in BC, falling trees over 15 cm (6") in diameter requires a recognized falling qualification. An ISA Certified Arborist designation alone does not qualify someone to perform this work.

Recognized pathways include:
✔️ BCFSC Faller Certification
✔️ CAGC Faller Certification
✔️ HEBC/WUAA Falling & Bucking Endorsement (for qualified arborists)
