And just like that, it's winter!๐โ๏ธ
To keep your door running its best this season, here are a few tips:
1. Keep your entryway clear of snow and ice. The heat from the garage can melt the snow and it can refreeze attached to your door's bottom rubber. (Ice salt can also cause damage to the rubber/ door, so use sparingly!)
2. Keep your door closed as much as possible. If your door is left open, the cold can damage your garage, and it can cause your door mechanisms to malfunction.
3. When storing shovels or other tools, keep them clear away from the photo eye sensors near the bottom of the door. If these are bumped or blocked, your door will not close properly and you may need us to come out and fix them!
These things may still happen, even when you're careful, so as soon as you notice something, be sure to give us a call. Outside of our regular business hours, we offer emergency on-call services to get your door closed and secure for those chilly winter nights! 780-532-9350
