This one started as a DIY special.

By the time I showed up we had:
• Wavy seams
• Bubbles in the tape
• Enough mud in one spot to build a sidewalk
• And corners doing their own thing

No shame — YouTube makes it look easy.

But drywall is one of those trades where you either see it… or you see it forever 👀

Came in, fixed it properly, re-taped, cleaned it up, and got it prime and looking like it should’ve been from the start.

Moral of the story:
You can try it once…

Originally taped with fiber, tape, and then years later moved onto the foundation, which created cracks everywhere. So I went with the 2.5 and then the 3.5 and will do a thin skim and it will be good as new!
