My workbench has been a little busy lately.

I’ve been having some fun taking some of laser-cut designs beyond the laser and transforming them into hand-shaped wooden shelf sitters.

It’s amazing how much they change from a few simple pieces of wood into something with personality.

The snail is currently getting painted, the squirrel is waiting on primer to dry, and the chickadee is just beginning its transformation.

What started as a single design has slowly grown into a collection of meaningful pieces, each paired with a story card and created as a reminder that sometimes the things we need most are found in the messages around us.

🪷 Darkness to Light
Inspired by the lotus flower, which rises from muddy waters to bloom untouched. A symbol of resilience, hope, and finding strength through adversity.

✨ Dragonfly
A reminder to embrace change, live fully in the moment, and trust your own journey. Dragonflies symbolize growth, adaptability, and the beauty found in new beginnings.

My claw clip stock was getting pretty slim, which meant it was the perfect excuse to create some new designs. 😉

Prairie wheat, daisies, western patterns, rodeo-inspired designs, and even a few farm favourites have joined the collection.

A custom order headed off to a tattoo convention.

Loved creating these engraved wood and leather keychains for local tattoo artist .
The filigree artwork featured on these keychains is actually her own tattoo design work, which made this project even more special.

It was truly an honour to be asked to help bring her designs to life in a different way. Wishing her an amazing convention!

This is another design that has been sitting on my “I really want to make this someday” list for far too long… and I finally got around to bringing it to life.

And honestly… I absolutely love how it turned out.

Simple, functional, pretty, and customizable…my favourite kind of project.

These can also be personalized with an acrylic name on top which makes them such a beautiful gift idea for teachers, coworkers, office desks, or honestly just for yourself ✨

Okay… I may be having just a LITTLE too much fun with this UV printer 😂

Every time something comes off the printer I immediately get 10 more ideas I want to try. It has opened up a whole new world of creating for me and my brain is officially on creative overdrive right now.

I seriously cannot wait to keep sharing all these new creations with you.

✨ A look back at our very first Vertical Limit Volleyball Club Gala Awards 🖤💛

Every single one of these awards was designed, laser cut, engraved, and assembled with so much thought and care to represent the incredible athletes who received them. From the layered acrylic and mirrored gold details to the custom designs for each category, I wanted them to feel just as special as the athletes they were created for. ✨

Seeing them all lined up together before the gala was honestly such a proud moment.
