Our beautiful Wild Geranium (Geranium maculatum) are back in stock and ready for your woodland or shade garden!

This charming Ontario native perennial produces soft pink to lavender blooms in spring and early summer, creating an elegant display beneath trees and along garden edges. Wild Geranium thrives in part shade to full shade and prefers moist, well-drained soils, though it is adaptable once established. Its nectar-rich flowers support native bees and other pollinators, while its attractive foliage provides season-long interest.

We’re excited to share that we’re hoping to offer Canada Plum (Prunus nigra) at the nursery in 2027! 🌿

This hardy Ontario native tree is a true four-season beauty. In early spring, it’s covered in masses of fragrant white blossoms that are a welcome sight for emerging pollinators. By late summer, it produces small edible plums enjoyed by both wildlife and adventurous humans alike. Its dense branching also provides excellent cover and nesting habitat for birds.

Canada Plum is tough, adaptable, and full of character — from its beautiful spring flowers to its naturally rugged form. It’s one of those native species that quietly supports so much life while adding seasonal interest to the landscape.

We’re really looking forward to growing this uncommon native for you in the future. 🍑🐦🐝
