Updated pics!
Availability lists were posted a few minutes ago. If prices are different, refer to the price on the list. Some pictures are from Saturday’s market and might not reflect the SALES.

Please message me directly to order. I don’t always get notifications for comments. I’m not ignoring you…. FB/Meta is glitchy 😞

Message to order, pay and arrange pickup at the house Sunday- Friday.
Some things (like the baskets) don’t come to the market because they get severely damaged.

Thanks for supporting local 💜

A HUGE THANK YOU! To everyone who comes out to the market! 💜
Many of you come regularly and it’s always great seeing your smiling faces and chatting with you 😁

There are a few people who take the time to stop by and tell me how their plants are doing. This warms my heart & makes all the hard work worth while! 🥰

When you shop at the Sudbury Market you are supporting local vendors. Local families that are dependent on you to buy their products in order to put food on their own tables.
Many of us do not have retail space, a space where we can let you browse. The market is how we connect to people outside of our circles and grow our businesses.

Word of mouth, tagging, recommendations and reviews also very helpful.
Please share my posts on your wall & on other groups. Please tag my business when people are asking for specific plants. I may not get a notification for it (I often don’t), but people will see the recommendations and come to my page.
This is one way you can help me grow my business so that I can continue to grow happy and healthy plants. 😁

If you have been happy with my plants or service please leave a review. You can find the review/recommend section by going to my main business page. It’s near the top. Depending on what device you are using it might be in a menu, drop down or the 3 stacked dots.

Thanks again for supporting local small businesses 💜

Car is packed and ready for tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) Sudbury Market.
40 Elm st (Elm Place/the downtown mall) 9-2pm
I’m inside near the front on the corner, same spot as I’ve been the last few weeks.

Special SALES happening…. You have to come to find out what! I haven’t made signs, I forgot 🤷‍♀️
Depending on what’s left, I might keep stuff on sale, I might not. Time will tell.

I have more houseplants than I’ve brought the past few weeks, more perennials too. Some different ground covers, some phlox, coneflowers, liatris, iris, asiatic lilies, bleeding hearts…. Other stuff too! I’ve brought 1 of most, max 3. That doesn’t mean I don’t have more, I just can’t fit more in the car!

With today’s possible rain I tucked everything under my carport this morning before I started packing (I took a pic- you can see all my Costco boxes stacked, waiting to be filled🤣). It made it a little cramped, but I got it done. 😁

I have very few cucumbers and squash left, they are all coming. Except for the patio pots of Patio Snacker cucumbers, they didn’t fit 😞
I also left the remaining hot peppers at home.
Only 2 early girl patio pots made it into the car. They have tomatoes on them! 😲

There are empty boxes in the car for carry out trays… but please bring boxes/bags. 📦📦📦📦📦📦&🛍️🛍️🛍️🛍️🛍️🛍️
Paper bags aren’t strong enough for the larger tomatoes or perennials. I am charging for bags now that it’s warm enough. Nothing needs protection from the cold. Bringing boxes for you means I can’t bring more plants! 😞

Ok, that’s it for today, I’m pooped! 😮‍💨🥱🫩😴

If you can’t make it or want something I left behind (ie:colourful hanging baskets) you can always order and pick up at the house Sunday-Friday.

Thanks for supporting local 💜

I love this ‘thyme’ of year! 🥰
Thyme is starting to bloom, Iris’ are in full bloom, alliums are just finishing… so much life.
So many dragonfly’s this year! Some tiny ones, some almost as big as my hand! Butterflies, bee’s, moths, hummingbird moths, fly’s… yes fly’s too.
The back yard is buzzing 🥰
I’ve heard, but not seen the hummingbirds yet this year. They must be shy.

Pics of my garden (no edits, not even cropping)….. enjoy! 🥰

EDIT: just added my tomatoes 😋 first of the season!

With all this rainy weather coming our way it’s time to think about mosquitoes. We all hate them, they are attracted to some people (me) more than others.

Get lids on those rain barrels to keep mosquitoes from breeding in them, or throw a mosquito dunk in to naturally and safely kill mosquito larvae without harming anything else. *2 pucks for $10

Mosquitoes breed in stagnant water, dump out random containers that routinely collect rain water at least once a week.

Ponds are great so long as the water is always moving. My backyard is full of dragonfly’s this time of year🥰. They breed in my pond and devour mosquitoes.

Strategic placement of mosquito repellent plants is also very helpful. Everyone knows about citronella, but did you know many highly scented herbs also repel mosquitoes?

Lemon is a common deterrent scent. Lemon grass, lemon balm and citronella are all wonderfully citrusy. Brush the leaves to release the scent for the best effect.
Other herbs such as rosemary, lavender, sage, peppermint, catnip, garlic and basil are also great repellents.

Marigolds are great companion plants for the garden. Not only do they repel root nematodes and other garden pests they also bring in bee’s and other pollinators.
Did you know marigolds also repel mosquitoes?!?

I have all of these plants available except the garlic.

Availability and price lists were posted yesterday.
If you want pictures of the exact plants, message me. These pictures are old.

Message me to order, pay and pick up at the house Sunday-Friday.

I will be at the Sudbury Market again this Saturday 9-2pm and I will be brining these plants as well as many others.

Thanks for supporting local 💜

So I guess I forgot to post this yesterday...🤷‍♀️
The days are blending into each other….
I finally got some of MY peppers planted….. about 70 plants, lol.
My tomatoes were planted on Sunday…. About 12 plants…. 2 more to plant, but they will be in pots. 5 of which are the black beauty. Tastier tomato ever! Black on the outside, deep red/burgundy on the inside. Sweet tomato perfection.

So much basil to plant 😋 Mmmm basil!

Anyhow, as always, check out the photo albums and message me to order.

Thanks for supporting, local 💜
