Hey y’all 🌻

Today is the last day to sign up for pumpkin picking for Saturday, September 5th! We will accept appointments until 5:00pm today.

Depending on what’s left, we may open more spots on Sunday.

We will also have our vegetable stand open 1:00-4:00pm, you do not need an appointment if you are coming to the vegetable stand only. Our rural address is 830042 range road 233. Send us a message if you need directions!

If you knew my grandparents, you knew that they loved both gardening and books. Grandma was passionate about youth literacy and always had a beautiful garden. Grandpa was a farmer, who in retirement, also became quite the gardener, even taking his giant pumpkins to local competitions. I thought this was the perfect way to help keep their memory alive! So for all pumpkins sold this year, a portion of the sales will be donated to the Grimshaw Municipal Library.

You may have noticed that we did not take any orders this week, that is because we will be opening our veggie stand along with our pumpkin patch this weekend.

If you do not want to pick pumpkins, but would like some vegetables, you do not need to book an appointment.

The vegetable stand will be open the same hours as the pumpkin patch , 1:00-4:00pm.

Veggies we will have at the stand:

Flathead cabbage (last chance for these!) - $2/lb
Carrots - $4/bunch
Beets - $4/bunch or $3/lb (no tops)

Romaine lettuce hearts - $3/bag
Herbs (thyme, sage, lavender, oregano) - $2.50/bunch
Zucchini (some large baking ones available) - $2/lb

The pumpkin patch will be open next Saturday! What we have available this year:

🎃 various varieties of pumpkins from minis to specialties to the classic jack-o’-lanterns and pie pumpkins
🎃 sunflowers (limited amounts available)
🎃 decorative wheat bundles
🎃 decorative corn stalks
🎃 veggies - we will have a table set up with a selection of in-season vegetables

For Wednesday morning delivery in Grimshaw or Peace River, please place your order by 5:00pm on Tuesday. Pick up from the farm is available on Wednesday afternoon!

We have an abundance of cabbage right now so we are accepting more orders this week! We have two varieties available, botran (good for fresh eating and making sauerkraut) and flathead (the preferred type for cabbage rolls).

Place your orders by Thursday at 5:00pm for Friday afternoon pick up (2:00-8:00pm).

Beets - $4/bunch or $3/lb without tops
