Part 3: Bathroom Upgrade. Swipe for before and afters!

At the top of this landing was a tiny little triangle shaped bathroom. We opened it up and squared it off to make it bigger and more functional with tons of storage thanks to bathroom fittings. You can see in the last two pictures how much more open and brighter the second floor landing has become since the remodel. We’re also obsessed with the floor tile from . 💚

The second floor of this 150 year old home seemed cut off from the rest of the house and had a strange and inconvenient layout. The two back rooms were only accessible from one of the bedrooms, they were used mainly as storage (as there are no closets in a house this old), and were very cold since there were old windows and no insulation in the ceiling.

We opened it up to create the sweetest little loft style landing, brought in a ton of natural light for upstairs and down, and provided privacy for all three of the bedrooms. All new flooring from helps to finish off the look and keep the entire second floor connected.🐦‍⬛

It was so much fun working with this chef to update her kitchen to be as awesome as her cooking. Thanks to for the flooring refresh too. We’re sure there are many magnificent meals to be made in this space! 🍴
