If your electrical mast have been damaged or meterbase in away way please report it to nsp so it can be coiled back to the pole so that work can start. Hurricane Fiona came in with a bang and unfortunately did alot of damage to property and left thousands without power. Keep in mind that ns power only owns the meter itself and the triplex wire from pole connecting to your electrical mast. The mast and conduit, meterbase and wire inside the mast/conduit is the homeowners unfortunately.

Some work from last week, check our the old meter base that had a smart meter installed and this is what was found when they swapped the meter. Ended up changing out for a new one and also changing the old fuse panel to new breaker panel to update and safe out the customers electrical service. It was good that it was addressed right away...If you or someone you know had a smart meter changed and the meterbase or conductors look like this you should give me a call asap to fix this issue.
