Bedford waterfront seawall

We started this on on Tuesday. The customers were very excited to get this started. They knew it would be a big change but didn’t expect how drastic is really is.

I started by ripping out a big stump from the front yard and then grading the topsoil they had and were doing by hand.

The we cut into the woods and did a pathway to a clearing for a fire pit, the customers were very excited to have a spot that was tucked away to enjoy some evening fires.

Today we started this grading job. Started off spreading 2” dirty stone beside the garage to build it up for extra parking.

We then moved to the other side of the house but had to travel all around the back as the septic was in the way.

4 loads of topsoil spread in the back as well as hauled clear stone in for a deck pad.

Finished grading and moved back out front to work on the grading between the septic field and the from step.

Will be finishing it up in the morning before we get all the rain from hurricane Ida.

Was so busy All weekend that I didn’t have a chance to post the finished job.

This was a pretty good first job with my machine, things got a little sketchy in the back of the house as it was all thick muddy clay.
Managed to get it graded with a swale to catch the water coming off the hill behind it.

Put in walkways around the house, put in new parking spots and resurfaced the driveway.

Re graded the front, sides, back yards and over the septic. The customers were very happy and will be getting topsoil and sod put down in the future.
