All photos of super big or flowering plants, berries are what they might look like when mature.
Some of the plants still dormant or just breaking dormancy:
Careegana, common - 1 year old whips, in pots, $3.00 each. Great for shelterbelt. My mature careegana grew 4 feet last season, they grow fast!
Cactus (Opuntia Fragilis) - this has yellow blooms around July 1st
Catnip, gallon pots $12 - your furry friends will love this, and they are big enough a couple cats won't kill it. Bears lovely little blue flowers, a bee magnet, 2 - 3 feet tall and wide. 2 year old plants.
Hens and Chicks - $4.50 each or 10 pots for $20, a variety named Black sempervivum, I have found these to be fairly large and they overwinter well in my windy yard.
Gooseberry - Hinonmaki. Highly productive Finnish variety. Harvest July to early August. Makes great jam, or addition to oatmeal breakfast porridge! $10 per pot.
Goji berry - mostly gallon
Horseradish roots - fresh dug for now, $5 for a handful or so.
Manitoba maples (smaller than gallon, gallon pots, and 2 gallon) for between $8 and $25, depending on size. These trees grow to 39 feet tall and 33 feet wide.
Potentilla - gallon pots $16 each (yellow ones)
If you have any gallon pots or larger ones, I can put them to good use instead of them going to the landfill 🙂
All plants Alberta grown, Alberta Strong 🙂! I speak plantese, ask me questions regarding their care!
