Painting Canada would like to take the time to acknowledge our awareness of an ex-employee on Facebook who has been spreading hurtful and hateful posts, comments, and messages. This employee has not been under Painting Canada's employment for approximately 3 years, although they’ve kept us listed as a current employer in their profile. Despite efforts to remove our association from the individual, it is ultimately out of Painting Canada's hands as far as the reach on this public platform.
We do not associate nor tolerate any of these hurtful views from our employees and do our best to align our values with those that are inclusive to those around us, and the betterment of people and society in general. In addition, we offer a sincere thank you to the members of the Facebook community who have reached out to us to let us know about this individual.
We do wish to promote a healthy and happy environment, both in and outside of the workplace. We work with each of the communities we operate in and encourage open communication about issues we are able to improve on.
