For those following along on this disaster repair from a so called “contractor”, we apologize for not posting last weeks progress, was a “new phone who this” moment 😂.

Anyway here we are approaching the finish line still needs some love tho !!!!
Nice little abstract wall paint for an accent wall !!
Custom casings to spice up windows and doors !!

Sadly have to give the vet your contractor warning again as we spent 3 days rebuilding the cabinets with new melamine as the “contractor” left them outside “protected” under a tarp which made them all rotten, at least we salvaged the doors ………. mostly.

Looking forward to the tile starting this week in the kitchen !!! And moving into the bathroom for a full tile job!!!

Stay tuned we are roughly only a week away before the finally !! And our long awaited Christmas holiday !!!

Well here we are a week into this basement repair and we can’t stress this enough, please PLEASE vet your contractor.

ONLY a LICENSED electrical contractor can LEGALLY do electrical work.
Just cause someone says “easy fix” or “I can do that” doesn’t mean they can, the amount of ESA violations is to long to list.

On a brighter note, we have started rebuilding after the electrician and even with this massive problem we are still under budget !!!
Yes our mud is blue, we colour our mud 😃, and no it doesn’t effect painting !!

We understand not everyone can do mudding, but this is by no means “ready for paint” as the “contractor” said to the customer. No this isn’t a “couple” spots this is found through the whole site.

Please everyone vet your contractor before taking them on, we understand that times are tough and money is tight but cheapest isn’t always good but most expensive isn’t always the best either.
This “contractor” charged more then we do and claimed this is “completed” mudding.
And for the contractors out there, if you can’t do something don’t sell it to a customer, sub it out to someone that can if need be or just say you can’t do it.
