CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF YOUR CONCRETE CREATIONS:

-All of our items are made from concrete, with fiberglass mesh added for extra strength. Some pieces also have rebar or heavy wire added for even more additional strength. It is however, still possible for concrete to chip if bumped against another hard surface, so caution is needed when moving or repositioning your items.

-All of our concrete

pieces are painted with outdoor paint and sealed with a water and UV resistant concrete sealer. The bottom side is intentionally left unsealed in order to allow the concrete to "breathe". Long term UV exposure from direct sunlight can cause the paint colors to fade and the sealer to wear off over time. If you wish you may apply a thin coat of concrete sealer every other year, or as needed.

-The extreme temperature changes that we experience in our climate can have a negative effect on concrete. Concrete can absorb moisture, and if allowed to freeze can cause the concrete to crack. Therefore if the concrete items are left outside over the winter, do not allow water to collect and freeze in crevices (e.g. Also, do not allow any concrete items to sit in a puddle of water, or on ice and snow where melting and refreezing can occur. Preferably, concrete items should be stored somewhere dry over the winter (e.g.

ALL STEPPING STONES on sale for a reduced rate. Current stock only. See pictures of all current inventory with new lower prices. Some are located in Humboldt, some in Saskatoon, but they can be moved as needed depending on desired pickup location.
