This was a super fun project that I’m glad I could be a part of. This house was abandoned and had to be completely gutted in order to make it liveable. New roof, complete reframing of the interior walls, fixing portions of the exterior walls and foundation, lots of new siding and trim work, 3 decks, new windows, landscaping, new septic system, the list goes on. I’m very excited about the finished product!

You may or may not recognize this accent wall. The new owners of this house loved the console cabinet that was there, so they ordered their own! They wanted this one to blend a bit more, so we went with brown barn board with some white accents, and as a fun little extra feature I made hand forged drawer and door pulls.

It’s been over a year since I’ve posted here, so I figured I should get back at it. To start, here’s a set of front doors I made recently from 2” hemlock floor boards that came out of a barn in Orillia. Cracks and dents were filled with black epoxy and the doors were finished with UV-Protection-Oil 410
