This was a fun but fairly involved project. The kitchen cabinetry was modified and expanded and painted (including the bathroom cabinetry not shown). New quartz countertops too. New cabinets were installed along the top with glass doors. The owner installed lighting behind them which gives a cool look. I spent several weeks on this one. Fun and interesting, but a fair amount of work. In the end everyone was happy and that's what matters.

Another set of new closet doors installed to replace old bi-fold doors. The new doors are 24" standard slab doors, but had to be trimmed a little to fit the old door frame which was not exactly square. Everything was freshly painted too.

The jig shown is one I made to mortise standard 3" door hinges on 78"- 80" x 1 3/8" interior slab doors, which is just about every one out there. The jig is used to mortise the door hinges, then transfer the same to the door jamb. Just use a router to do the mortising as shown.

(BTW: There are lots of commercial jigs out there, but they are designed to handle any and all possible situations. Lots of pieces and adjustments. However, the one I made a one-piece jig that is designed to simplify things by doing only one setup that covers 99% of the applications I would be facing. I like simple).

Was in a store recently that had well over 100 assorted wall clocks. I have always have liked time pieces. So, why not make one. (It's easy to buy the clock mechanism, by the way).

I did one up on my CNC machine out of wormy maple. Machined out the middle part and the numbers and dropped in some epoxy resin mixed with copper mica. Sprayed on a few coats of Varathane finish and polished the face.

Nothing spectacular, but a start. the sky is the limit. More will be on the way in time I'm sure.

A not so little, but very satisfying refacing of an older set of oak kitchen cabinets plus an island into a more modern Shaker style. I made all new doors and drawer fronts and covered the oak panels. All surfaces painted with new hardware, and they also had a new quartz countertop installed (beforehand).

Just completed another kitchen cabinet refinish. We went from a dark stained birch to a nice warm white (B/M Gray Mist in Pearl finish). Also put on new hardware. As usual, the finish is sprayed. Customer is very happy.
