NOW HIRING – LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION LABOURER

D'S DIGS Excavation & Hardscapes is looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join the crew.

Work includes:
• Excavation
• Paving stone installation
• Retaining walls
• Synthetic turf
• Grading and base preparation
• General landscape construction

What we're looking for:
• Reliable transportation
• Positive attitude
• Physically capable of working outdoors
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience is an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

This position offers the opportunity to learn excavation, hardscaping, grading, equipment operation, and landscape construction while working on a variety of residential and commercial projects throughout the Shuswap and Kamloops areas.

Wage:
$22.00 – $26.50/hour
Based on experience, attitude, and ability.

One of the paving stone projects we completed in May.

This installation included approximately 720 square feet of Barkman paving stones, supplied by River City Rock Products, creating a clean, durable, and functional outdoor space.

The project is still being finished, with topsoil and turf installation scheduled as the final phase.

It's always rewarding to see a project come together from excavation and base preparation through to the finished product, and we're looking forward to sharing the completed transformation.

Spring is here and things have been busy.

Here’s a look at some of the work we’ve been getting done lately — excavation, paving stones, retaining walls, synthetic grass, drainage, grading, and outdoor space transformations.

Whether it’s a full backyard rebuild or a smaller upgrade, we take pride in keeping projects clean, functional, and built to last.

This one was a full transformation.

When we showed up, the space was barely usable — tree roots had taken over, nothing would grow, and everything was sitting on mats.

We stripped it back and built a clean 450 sq ft paving stone pad, finished with pet-friendly synthetic grass to make the space low-maintenance and usable year-round.

We also ran power to the new shed to make the space fully functional moving forward.

Simple, functional, and a huge upgrade from where it started — now a space they can actually enjoy.
