WOW! 395 days since I last posted 🤯 . to all you awesome folks that have stuck around, THANKYOU! 395 days is TOO LONG! It has been an eventful year personally and my focus needed to be elsewhere (it still does but i am starting to find myself again so im going to try and sneak some of that focus back to my little corner of this facebook world 😁)

So I dont care to put much of my personal drama up on here, so to cut right to the end of the story, I no longer have much of my tools I worked so hard for over many years. However... I made sure to keep enough to still be able to function (even if i have to get more creative with a process here and there to get it done).

So what have i worked on in the last year or so... hmm... well, one or two memorial pieces , befire winter set in i was scrambling to get a few decks refinished, im working on my first set of wind chimes right now (and I GREATLY underestimated the depth of the rabbit hole that is windchime creation!). The set I am making is for my Dad and is made with copper pipe, each chime hung from thin copper wire. mistakes were made and lessons were learned 😅.

i used my original plans for my personal game controller and headset stand and found a new use for the product as a helmet stand/display 🤣

I'm going to attach some photos to this post for now but i will find the time soon to catch things up better

Drop a message in the comments for me so i know you are still alive! bonus points if you include a project picture of something youve made since ive been gone.

LETS CATCH UP!

The stools were just a request to shorten them. not a complex job but it was an excuse to use my laser level. since the legs are slightly angled it was my first thought on how to keep the angle of the cut consistent all the way around so the feet still sat flush on the floor. just chose my cut spot, laser on, mark lines all the way around, make sawdust. perfect.

the shelving unit was for a good friend. hand made dowel pegs join everything together.

so I stayed up way to late working on this but it needed to get done. I'm sharing it in it's completed, but bare form. the personal elements I figure are for his family.

this is the memorial piece for an old friend who passed away recently, long before he should have. I think it turned out beautifully and I think he would be satisfied, AND impressed.

it got a coating of high gloss polyurethane after the addition of the personal elements, and felt pads on the bottom.

haven't had much time in my shop due to shoveling snow for people, but managed to get this headset and controller stand finished.

considering it was spur of the moment, and made with whatever I had , I'm really happy with how the colors worked together.
