Hi Kelowna!

My name is Olivia Martiskainen and I will be servicing West Kelowna this year!

I am a second year university student studying economics at the University of British Columbia - Okanagan. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, reading, and being outdoors.

This is my second summer running a painting business with Scholars Edge, and I will use my expertise to ensure a quality finished project. We are currently in search of : 6-8 students.
General painter wages: $20-24+ per hour

Requirements to apply:
- Drivers license and means of transportation
- Living in Kelowna/West Kelowna
- Willingness to learn new skills

Painting experience is not required as we train each employee to excel in their position.

Vanderveen Painting is an Okanagan painting company that transforms both exterior & interior painting projects. We hire people that are ambitious, goal-oriented, and very driven. If you're looking for a summer job from May-August, with potential to start earlier, we have positions for you!

We are hiring for both positions, with the potential for a painter to be promoted to Crew Chief within a few weeks of starting.

Painter Wages:

$20-25+ per hour

Jobsite foreman wages:

$22-27+ per hour

We train painter positions from the beginning, so no experience is needed.

Training includes:

- Prepping, masking and painting exterior and interior surfaces

- Keeping a clean job-site

- Client communication

- Team-work skills with other students

- On the spot problem-solving skills

- Budget and time management abilities

Painting experience is not required however is an asset. We train each employee to excel in their position.
