There’s a Day for Almost Everything
September has a little bit of everything.
A day to read a book. A day to appreciate a good neighbour. A day to be grateful. A day to welcome fall. And, because apparently the calendar has a sense of humour, a day to talk like a pirate.
That’s why we love this series.
These observances give us a chance to step outside the usual pool-and-landscape conversation and talk about the little things that make outdoor living in the Okanagan so enjoyable: slowing down with a book by the water, spending time with the people next door, appreciating the spaces that bring us together, and noticing the season begin to change.
We won’t celebrate every day on the calendar. Just the ones that give us something worthwhile, useful or fun to say.
Follow along. There really is a day for almost everything.
